Plastic is an almost irreplaceable material, especially in the packaging industry. And that’s why we work hard to ensure that issues such as sustainability and ecology are increasingly brought into our focus in the manufacturing of plastic products.

We think and act in an environmentally conscious manner and increasingly offer our customers alternative raw materials for packaging production. We consistently continue this sustainable approach in resource management, in production, in numerous areas of internal and external logistics and in our energy management.
As early as 2014 we decided to give Verpackungstechnik Frielinghaus a more ecological focus and, as part of this decision, introduced the “Green Line” and the “100% Post-Consumer Recycled” bottles. Since then, the production of packaging from renewable raw materials or recycled materials has played an increasingly important role for us.
And we are doing everything we can to ensure that this development continues.
We are also happy to have our special commitment in the area of sustainability checked by external bodies. The certifications that we then receive are, on the one hand, a confirmation of our work and, on the other hand, a motivation to continue on this path.
In order to improve energy efficiency as part of our sustainability initiative, we successfully completed energy management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 for the first time in 2021.
